The Arabic Quran, as originally revealed, has some amazing numerical relations and patterns that attest to its authenticity and divine origin, purely objectively and irrefutably.
The mention of Adam and Jesus in the Quran signifies some amazing awe-inspiring numerical relations involving the mystical numbers 7 and 19 (see also the article: Authenticity of the Quran: Numbers of Chapters and Verses).
Adam and Jesus are mentioned 25 times each in the Quran. This number is significant in itself, as the number 7 is the 7th number counting upwards from 1, whereas the number 19 is the 7th number counting downwards from 25.
Adam and Jesus are mentioned together only in one common verse, Verse 59, Chapter 3, and are mentioned separately in 49 other verses, where 49 = 7×7, where the number 7 is repeated twice, one for Adam and one for Jesus. Furthermore, the common verse is the 7th mention of each of Adam and Jesus in the Quran.
The first mention of Adam is in Verse 31, Chapter 2, and the first mention of Jesus is in Verse 87, Chapter 2. The sum of these two verse numbers is 118 = 59×2, where 59 is the number of the common verse.
The 19th mention of Adam and Jesus is in Chapter 19 (titled Maryam, The Virgin Mary), Jesus in Verse 34 and Adam in Verse 58. The total number of verses from Verse 34 to Verse 58, inclusive, so as to include both names, is 25, the number of times each of Jesus and Adam are mentioned in the Quran.
The verse (3:59) begins with the statement:
“Indeed, the example of Jesus in the sight of Allah is like that of Adam…”
“إنَّ مَثَلَ عِيسَىٰ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ كَمَثَلِ ءَادَمَ…”
In Arabic, the statement consists of 7 words and 23 letters, where 23 is the number of years over which the Quran was revealed. Moreover, beyond the first, introductory, two-letter word, the second and third words have 7 letters, as do the fourth and fifth words, as well as sixth and seven words. The sum of these letters is 21 = 7×3.
In Arabic, the word “Adam” consists of 3 letters, whereas the word “Isa” (for Jesus) consists of four letters, the total number of Arabic letters in both names being 7.
Are all these coincidences?
